Pinnacle of British Motor Racing
Entering its fifteenth year in 2017, the Porsche Carrera Cup GB is at the very pinnacle of British motor racing and a firm fixture in every motorsport enthusiast’s diary.
The competition is made up of identical – and exhilarating – 460hp 911 GT3 Cup cars, meaning that victory or defeat is all down to team preparation and driver performance.
The first step to victory is the drivers’ ability to work with their engineers to set the car up for the circuit, the weather conditions and race strategy. Thereafter the driver is alone, and it is their skill that will see them to the flag, and if they are fast enough, the podium.
ProAm2 Champion 2015
In the first race of his first season of the Porsche Carrera Cup, John McCullagh found his way to the podium and made frequent visits thereafter.
Taking an early lead, John maintained a top position throughout the season in the highly competitive Pro-Am2 class; a strong group that provided some of the most exciting racing.
Away from the circuit, John is a successful engineering entrepreneur and director of his family-owned group of companies.
An enthusiastic and accomplished communicator, John has an interesting story to tell. From paddock tours to special events and presentations, his friendly and accessible manner makes for engaging and memorable experiences.
